Wateree Correctional Institution inmate, Joshua Reynolds, 27, reflects out the window of his prison cell. Reynolds, a recovering crack cocaine addict, is a trainee in the prison's Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation’s groom certification program. The program teaches prisoners to care for and domesticate retired race horses, thus rehabilitating the inmates as well as the horses. He is serving a one year sentence for second-degree burglary. In the rehabilitation program, Reynolds said he's learned patience, how to tame his temper, and how to live without drugs. Photography by Chris Aluka Berry/ ALUKAStorytelling Photography.com)
